Persuasive writing was very fun because you could pick what team you wanted to be in. I like sharing my ideas and opinions about a topic.

My research on a NZ native tree

I  found researching fun and a great  way to lean new things. I had to read through information about a Rata tree and choose facts I liked. I choose to research the Rata tree because that is my house at Elm park school.

What makes us kiwi?

I am learning to find out what makes us New Zealanders.  I found out L&P is the most popular drink in New Zealand. It was very tricky to find the right picture that I liked. I found it interesting that kiwi birds are only found in New Zealand.

Comparing the past and present

I  am learning to compare the past with the present. I found out the people use to drop things under there house because they didn't have carpet on their floors. People had to walk a long long way to get to school. Nowadays nothing  falls under  peoples houses because their is carpet.  I found interesting that the people had to walk a long long way to get to the shops. Now it's easy because we have cars, bikes and scooters.

I was learning to write a letter to my family while i was in war.I  enjoyed filming this fun video. I loved the sad music playing in the background.
